Chongqing Transportation Kaitou Group organized a public art design competition for the interior space of Feixuesi Station on Line 7 and Huxi Station on Line 17 of Chongqing Rail Transit. A total of 13,248 votes were received during the public voting of 10 schemes at the two sites. Combined with the public voting and expert review opinions, the selected schemes of the two sites were finally announced. The scheme is based on the characteristics of the surrounding environment of the site to create a unique natural and rustic style of public transportation space. The raw and rough natural stone texture is taken as the main design element, which has great visual tension and spatial texture. Through the contrast of materials and colors, the rough and delicate, dark and light colors are organically combined to enhance the design sense. The ground adopts anti-slip and wear-resistant terrazzo ground, carries forward the traditional construction technology, and controls the cost reasonably. The ceiling is combined with LED lamps and light gray aluminum panels to create a bright, elegant and elegant space atmosphere. Based on the daily life and learning needs of college students and citizens around the site, the program effectively uses the end, corner and other spare Spaces to lay out places for short rest, study and display without affecting normal traffic, organically integrates urban public space with traffic space, and creates a better youth-friendly and cultural atmosphere. The overall space design takes "digital forest" as the theme. Through the combination of lights, walls, columns and other elements, three spatial nodes are created: "Morning Sun Hall" (station hall level), "underwater secret environment" (platform level) and "Butterfly Valley" (escalator passage). Moreover, station intelligent system is used to control lighting brightness and natural sound effect in real time.
