The Tongluoshan Tunnel of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 15 opened 10 months ahead of schedule

The tunnel is located in the section from T3 Terminal Building to Longjun Avenue Station of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 15 Phase I, with a total length of 4,039 meters and a planned construction period of 48 months. It adopts a single-hole double-track horseshoe section and is a typical long mountain tunnel in Chongqing. The tunnel has repeatedly passed through the fault fracture zone, water-rich karst area, gas and goaf and other bad geological sections, there are difficulties in construction, high safety risk, long construction period and other problems, and it is a control node project of the whole line.
In the face of the complex geological conditions of the project, the participating units, China Construction No. 3 Bureau and China Construction No. 5 Bureau, adhere to the technology first, comprehensively apply TSP advanced geological prediction, geological radar, horizontal advance borehole and other technologies, deeply grasp the geology, hydrology, environment and other conditions along the tunnel, and clarify the key difficulties and risk points of construction at different stages. The project set up an innovation studio and initiated the Chongqing Construction Science and Technology Project, which has produced 14 scientific research achievements and effectively solved the technical problems in the construction of Causeway Mountain Tunnel. In addition, the project customized the "tunnel network" with 360-degree full perspective three-dimensional scene, to realize the dynamic monitoring of tunnel construction man-machine materials, full environment perception monitoring, process safety monitoring, safety measures control and risk data system integration, to break the traditional tunnel construction relying only on two-dimensional drawings prone to "production data clutter", "telephone scheduling", "information island" and other problems. The tunnel construction management has been upgraded from "human control" to "numerical control", improving the efficiency by about 70%.
The first phase of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 15 starts at Jiuquhedong Station and ends at Liangjiang Film City Station, with a design speed of 140 km/h. After completion, it will quickly connect the three major Chongqing troughs and valleys, and realize the direct contact of the three major centers of Xiyong, Liangjiang and Longsheng, which is of great significance to promote the integration of external transportation hubs and lead the urban development pattern.
